BEGINNINGS
Originally created as a clothing store exclusively for snowboarding and skiing, FromTheCellar has become much more than that: a place where lovers of the outdoors can get apparel that matches their lifestyle. The name originates from the phrase 'cellar door', which is often praised as being the most beautiful phrase in the english language. We see our store as a wine cellar, sheltering the finest of wines, crafted from the juciest of grapes. And so, our products are named after wines, matching the flavours to aesthetics and colours.
APPROACH
The company runs on the philosphical model of Hedonism, which focuses on the chase of happiness. Whether you play football, ski, or hike, we have clothing for your very own chase of adrenaline. We source our blanks from Canada and embroider them in-house in Montreal. This ensures ethical labour practices in our manufacturing and contributes to our corporate social responsibility goals.
